General Manager

Our client is a busy and growing, established consumer goods manufacturing business in the Vancouver area.
They are looking for a General Manager to oversee the business operations, strategic direction and leadership of the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the business, ensuring cost targets are met
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
• Lead, coach, and develop management and supervisory teams across the business; foster a strong performance and accountability culture
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment across all departments
• Other as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment (consumer goods, food, beverage, pharma or related preferred)
• Proven experience managing large teams, budgets, and complex operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities

Salary in the 180-200,000 range.
