Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Technical Consultant with extensive experience in US Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP HR code development and a deep understanding of Core HR and Payroll modules. This role involves designing and developing custom HR-ABAP programs, working with PNP / PNPCE logical databases, and enhancing payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Experience : 9-15 years in payroll technical consulting.
  • ABAP HR Development : Proficient in ABAP HR code development.
  • Custom Programs : Design and write HR-ABAP custom programs; modify standard programs as needed.
  • Database Programming : Experience with PNP / PNPCE logical databases and cluster programming for Core HR, payroll, and time management.
  • Core HR & Payroll Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of Core HR and Payroll modules, including schemas, functions, and operations.
  • HR Tables / Clusters : Familiarity with HR, Core HR, and Payroll tables / clusters; experience in developing reports / BDC in the HR module.
  • Payroll Processes : Strong experience in Core HR and payroll processes, including preparing payroll reports.
  • Reports & Interfaces : Design and develop reports, interfaces, info types, and enhancements.
  • Team Development : Guide and develop team members to enhance their technical capabilities and productivity.
  • Forms Experience : Hands-on experience with SMART forms and HR forms.
  • User Exits & BAPIs : Proficient in user exits, BADi, and BAPI.
  • OOPS Concept : Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Technical Documentation : Experience in requirement gathering, designing technical documents, unit testing, and code review.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll technical consulting with a focus on US Payroll.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Certification in SAP HR or related modules.
  • Experience with other HRIS systems

    Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled US Payroll Specialist with extensive experience in payroll processing, tax compliance, and system configuration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US payroll and taxes, BSI tax factory configuration, garnishment and benefits configuration, and integration with payroll systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage payroll business users effectively.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • US Payroll and Taxes : Expertise in managing and processing US payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • BSI Tax Factory Configuration : Configure and maintain BSI tax factory, apply and test tax update bulletins.
  • Garnishment Configuration : Set up and manage garnishments in the payroll system.
  • Benefits Configuration : Configure and integrate benefits with payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and contributions.
  • Payroll Posting to Finance : Post payroll results to the finance system, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Payroll Schemas and Rules : Deep knowledge of payroll schemas and rules to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Direct Deposit and Check Configurations : Configure direct deposit and check payment options for employees.
  • HR Service Packs : Implement and test HR service packs to ensure system updates and compliance.
  • Wage Type Setup : Set up wage types, including payment models and taxability configurations.
  • Full Lifecycle Implementations : Lead at least one end-to-end full lifecycle US payroll implementation.
  • Third-Party Vendor Integration : Integrate and interface third-party vendors with SAP for seamless payroll processing.
  • Production Support : Provide production support, including root cause analysis and resolution for configuration, development, data, and process issues.
  • Time Management : Implement and support positive and negative time management, including time evaluation and schema updates.
  • Year-End Testing : Conduct year-end testing and apply legal notes to ensure compliance.
  • Remuneration Statement Configuration : Configure and test remuneration statements for accuracy.
