Young Families Sylvan Lake

We are now hiring a Young Families worker. This individual must actively be pursuing a vibrant relationship with Jesus. The Young Families worker will minister to young parenting mothers and their families involved in the Ponoka CAYU Young Families program. They will work alongside other Young Families workers. We are looking for an individual who enjoys building community connections and will help strengthen relationships in the Ponoka community.

Under the direction of the Family Engagement Director Young Families Ministry Staff are empowered to :

• Support the Young Families ministry through evangelism and discipleship providing guidance and support to participants and assisting in the development and implementation of weekly programming.
• Work in the community and surrounding churches to build awareness of the Young Families program. Develop community connections engage with potential participants recruit volunteers and develop donor relationships for the Ponoka programming.
• Meet with the Family Engagement Director and Ponoka Team Lead regularly attend staff meetings and pray for other staff.
• Participate in recruiting and in the orientation of prayer support resources and encouragement for volunteer staff.
• Participate in fundraising for the Young Families ministry and your personal deputation account by maintaining healthy donor relationships and assisting with all Central Alberta Youth Unlimited Fundraising events.
