QC Laboratory Technical Manager

Our client is well-established and specializes in aggregate processing. They are looking for a Laboratory Technical Manager to oversee quality control operations and lead the laboratory team.

• Oversee quality control of aggregate and asphalt mix production;
• Responsible for a team of 5 laboratory technicians;
• Maintain and update quality documentation and records;
• Ensure quality compliance and equipment calibration for laboratories, plants and crushers;
• Prepare and monitor asphalt mix designs in real time for plant operations;
• Coordinate and ensure communications between production superintendents, crushing plants, asphalt plants and laboratory personnel;
• Liaise between sales, the laboratory, clients, and external representatives; provide technical support during issues and claim;
• Prepare and transmit quality documentation to clients (test results, certifications, etc.);
• Manage customer complaints and non-conformities related to technical or production issues.

Requirements:

• DEC or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience;
• 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience;
• Experience in supervision;
• Strong technical expertise in aggregates, concrete, and asphalt mixes;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite);
• Bilingual;
• Horaire: 45 heures/semainee, 7am to 5pm.
