Monster Ambassador Team (MAT) - Halifax, Nova Scotia

Position Summary:

The Consumer Engagement Marketing (CEM) Program is a national marketing program for Monster Energy Company. The
purpose of the program is to:

• Generate Trial of Monster Energy Drink products by consumers
• Communicate the Monster brand message to consumers/partners/peers/customers
• Assist with Lead Generation for Sales Division
• Develop and Strengthen Key Account Relationships
• Build Centers of Influence Network
• Support Marketing department with event set up, activation and tear down
• Support Sales efforts through event/customer sampling activation
• Support Sales efforts in trade though “Street Team” merchandising at retail accounts

Essential Job Functions:

Ambassadors will have several Roles and Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Actively generate trial of Monster Energy through guerrilla sampling
• Distribute POS as required to consumers to reinforce brand loyalty
• Responsibly care for program materials and assets of Monster Energy Company
• Arrive on time and adhere to shift schedule
• Maintain the brand appearance and wear proper uniform
• Ensure professionalism, exceptional communication, and proactive interactions with consumers
• Respond in a timely manner to CEM Team Leader
• Inventory, cleaning and organization of warehouses/storage areas
• Assist with Marketing event planning, set up, activation and tear down
• Assist with Sales in trade merchandising at retail accounts

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• May be required to travel when necessary
• Must be available to work at least one shift per week (no exceptions)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs when required
• Must have a clean driving record (drivers abstract required)
• Must hold valid driver’s license of the Province you are employed
• Must Pass Criminal Background Check
• Must be comfortable driving a lifted pickup truck in urban/downtown, suburban and highway settings
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• This position is Part Time up to 30 hours a week

Base Pay Rate: C$20.00/hr
