Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Location : Clarington - Newcastle and Courtice

Type : Full Time

Position Overview :

A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join a winning team for the role of Insurance Account Representative, Life Insurance Specialist. Responsibilities :

  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Requirements :

  • Sales experience (outside sales, retail sales, Life Insurance sales preferred )
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred
  • History of providing an Awesome client experience
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • The genuine desire to be part of a winning culture and fun work environment
  • LLQP Life Insurance license (preferred / must be able to obtain)
  • Any Post Secondary Marketing or Business studies would be an asset

    • Salary : $50,000 Plus Commissions Bonuses and other Incentives
