Under the supervision of the CEO, the person in charge of the Finance department is responsible of the company’s financial health. He / She oversees all accounting operations and provides all the necessary information to managers, so that the management team can make the right decisions at the right time.
As a Finance Director at Spiria, you will :
- Collaborate with the management team and participate in the development of the company’s strategy, including acquisition projects;
- Conduct various analyses and elaborate financial strategies with the company’s managers ;
- Develop and maintain business relationships with financial partners, external auditors, and other suppliers;
- Supervise a team composed of an accounting technician and a controller to ensure the efficiency of the entire accounting cycle, including payroll and benefits management ;
- Prepare monthly interim financial statements, tax returns and dashboards ;
- Manage and optimize working capital and ensure collection from customers ;
- Ensure continuous improvement of accounting processes and administrative controls ;
- Participate in various events to increase the company’s visibility with various financial partners and other partners ;
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and set up a procedure for approving expenses ;
- Apply for grants in collaboration with stakeholders and produce all documentation (CDAE, SR&ED, Emploi-Québec, others).
The keys to your success :
CPA designation and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role ;Significant experience with inter-company transactions ;Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and French ;Demonstrate strategic vision and knowledge of the challenges facing a professional services company ;Positive leadership and excellent collaboration, mobilization, and communication skills;Ability to plan, coordinate and decide effectively ;Ability to analyze and diagnose financial problems ;Negotiation skills, from a win-win perspective ;Know how to control risks and prevent losses;Experience with Business Central, an asset.What we offer you :
