About The Position
In this role, the Senior Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk will support the commercial real estate department by preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing complex files from start to finish. Reporting directly to the firm’s real estate lawyers, the clerk will coordinate with clients and third parties, handle due diligence tasks, and ensure seamless execution of transactions. This position requires strong technical capability, superior organization, and the ability to manage competing priorities within a supportive team environment.

The Requirements

• College diploma or certificate in a Law Clerk or Paralegal program
• 5+ years of experience in a law clerk or similar capacity, preferably in Ontario commercial real estate
• Proficiency with legal research tools such as CanLII, Westlaw, and Teranet
• Strong understanding of Ontario’s real estate framework, including Land Titles and electronic registrations
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information

Compensation

• Salary: $80,000-100,000
