Join Our Team at Deer Park Gas Bar!

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Deer Park Gas Bar in Red Deer is the perfect place for you! We're currently seeking a full-time Gas Bar Floater to join our dynamic team. This is a floater position based out of the Deer Park Gas Bar location and will involve working at our other Central Alberta Co-op Gas Bar locations (. Sylvan Lake and Blackfalds) as required.

Position : Gas Bar Floater

Full-time : 40 hours / week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability : Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities :

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the pump
  • Dispense fuel and propane with precision
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check oil / fluid levels
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications :

  • Minimum age requirement : 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
  • As this position will be providing assistance to other CAC Gas Bar locations, reliable transportation is an asset
