Senior Engineer (Digital Build)

Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Digital Build) to drive certainty, engineered safety, and excellence in delivery at the Monklands Replacement Project.

NHS Lanarkshire's ambition is to deliver Scotland's first fully digital and net zero carbon hospital through the Monklands Replacement Project (MRP). The new hospital is a significant capital project with benefits for healthcare, the economy, and the local community across Lanarkshire and Scotland.

This is an office-based role

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Engineer looking to specialize in Digital Build. We support development in the Digital BIM space.

If you are :

• Passionate about seeking the best engineering solutions for complex multi-disciplinary interfaces.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for design information.
• Experienced in reinforced concrete structure construction with an interest in temporary works, reinforcement detailing, or Design for Manufacture and Assembly.
• Confident in collaborating with design consultants and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve issues before construction.
• Enthusiastic about working with trades and construction management to ensure a buildable solution.
• Energized by seeing your work reflected in real construction progress.
• Aiming to gain exposure to high-level design decision-making related to construction design.
• Excited about using digital technologies to achieve these goals.
