Senior IT Project Manager
Reporting to the Director, Project Management, the Sr. IT Project Manager will provide project management, governance and reporting for multi-year, enterprise initiatives with a high degree of risk and complexity while managing interdependencies between workstreams ( timing, resources and systems integration) and other related projects.
The Sr. IT Project Manager will provide project leadership and follow a disciplined approached to execution, ensuring the successful implementation of business and IT related initiatives and projects.
This role will manage a diverse stakeholder group and ensure the success of all assigned projects in support of IO’s strategic and operational plans.
What You Will Do :
- Lead multiple concurrent projects which have a high risk and complexity profiles and impact one or more business units providing overall governance and assuming accountability for overall success of various projects
- Provide oversight of assigned resources to meet multi-project milestones including managing complex and interdependent project workstreams, timelines, communications, and tasks.
- Manage change (or transformation) across one or more business units across IO as successful delivery of many of the assigned projects will require the change, adoption or implementation of new processes, technology, policies, roles, etc.
- Identify, track / monitor and resolve issues or mitigate risks, and if required, escalate to leaders as appropriate.
- Responsible for the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects and activities performed by theassigned teams.
- Monitor and maintain project tracking providing transparency and ensuring project methodology is followed
- Lead and manage oversight of project plan, RACI, RAID log, and reporting for assigned projects and / or workstreams.
- Consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to set project goals, objectives, timelines and priorities
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure continued growth and development of the project management practices.
- Participate in training project teams to expand their capabilities by establishing best practices, policies, PM methodologies, quality assurance and control, tools, and templates.
- Take a leadership role in continuous improvement of the project management framework and implement new processes, tools and methodologies.
What We’re Looking For :
- Significant experience in project management and organizational change initiatives.
- University degree considered an asset.
- Experience managing business and enterprise implementations is an asset.
- Project Management Professional certification ( PMP) is required
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly preferred.
- Stakeholder management experience in a dynamic organization.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are requiredin order to present options and recommendation to senior level stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies ( Waterfall, Agile) and support tools (, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel).
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.

The salary range for this position is $99,800 to $149,700 with a corresponding job level of P5 Exact compensation will vary based on skills, knowledge and experience Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
