We are seeking an Onshore New Unit Project Engineer to execute the on-shore scope of new unit sales contract with excellence, enabling customers to reach their decarbonization goals with our innovative power generation technologies.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build strong customer relationships by quickly responding to their needs and collaborating with Siemens Energy product lines to provide a solution that adds the most value.
- Arrange for, and manage resources to support site work, such as people, parts, tools, consumables, and safety equipment.
- Lead and motivate diverse project teams by making technical and commercial decisions, while maintaining focus on the customer and project goals.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for the execution work by tracking man-hours and costs, ensuring that the project remains profitable, and the customer is informed.
- Apply a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the commercial and technical management of turbine and generator equipment.
- Responsibilities include Customer and Field Service interface involving installation, testing, operation, repair, and troubleshooting of customer equipment and systems.
- Provide a key point of contact for internal and external customer interface.
- Supports the General Project Manager and sales team to ensure that all aspects of the customer’s needs and relationship are maintained.
- Identifies and manages the resolution of complex problems and applies problem-solving skills when handling a wide range of situations.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent5 or more years of relevant experienceSelected candidate will be required to obtain project management certification within 24 months
