Location : Toronto (Downtown)
The Senior Yardi Support Analyst will provide L2 / L3 production support for a broad portfolio of business applications with key focus on Yardi; primarily responsible for providing support to internal users while ensuring the optimal functioning and operations of Yardi and associated systems, as well as supporting a range of business applications.
Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 / 3 technical support for Yardi to Power Users, SMEs and end users
- Set up databases, create account trees, create rollup rules, create custom reports, create entity structures
- Perform system admin tasks such as account maintenance, role and permissions, password resets, etc.
- Create / or assist Power Users in setting up new entities, reporting, training materials
- Create / or assist Power Users in roll out of Yardi features, plugins, enhancements, etc.
- Conduct Yardi training for existing employees and to on-board new employees into the platform
- Create / update deployment plans, admin guides, network diagrams, procedures, policies, etc.
- Cross-train the peers to elevate the internal subject matter expertise on the platform
- Conduct system audits to identify deficiencies and risks, and present strategies to optimize the platform
- Document / Communicate processes and procedures related to functional aspects of Yardi
- Perform various activities to support effective incident, problem, change and release management
- Participate in meetings to ensure procedural due-diligence, communications, and risk mitigation
Qualifications :
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field2-5 years’ experience in managing and supporting Yardi5+ years in a similar IT production support in a large corporate setting3+ years of experience in ITIL aligned incident, problem, change and release managementITIL Foundation v3 or higher preferredStrong interpersonal skills – Communication, Relationship Management, etc.Ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to logical resolutionDrive to constantly make improvements and proactively seek opportunities for optimizationStrong customer focus and not be willing to settle for a job half doneStrong troubleshooting mindsetExperience with a broad range of MS technologies such as Windows OS, SharePoint, MS SQL, IISExperience with networking principles and protocols e.g. TCP / IP, DNS, FTP, etc.Experience in designing scalable server architecture for vendor applicationsTechnical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within the enterpriseUnderstanding of SAN / NAS / DAS technologiesExperience with MS SQL Installs, scripts, performance operations, design, schema, and db. OptimizationExperience with Stored procedures, SSIS, SQL , ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skillsExposure to virtualization (VMWare, Hyper V, Citrix, etc.) and functional understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
