English Teaching Position :
K-12 / ESL Instructor :
Familiar with English teaching of the BC curriculum, and the BC ELL program.Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.SSAT / SAT / AP English Instructor :
Excellent communication skills appropriate / relevant to test type and students.Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the SSAT / SAT / AP English past paper.Tutor-tailored SSAT / SAT / AP English courses based on the student level and needs.Develop SSAT / SAT / AP English Prep Materials if needed.English Literature and Creative Writing Instructor :
Understanding English literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred.Instruct students on interpreting literature and assign books to read.Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student essays / assignments / writing.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.) with relevant education experience.Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.Ease of Commute : Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.Experience : Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.Teaching Certification : Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.Maths Teaching Position :
