The Opportunity
The ideal candidate is a licensed legal professional with extensive experience in commercial real estate who is seeking a challenging leadership role with a competitive salary and significant growth potential. You will have the drive and determination to enhance business processes and ensure timely, accurate delivery of legal and lease documents.
Given that the Director, Legal & Lease Documentation is responsible for managing all aspects of legal documentation under the guidance of the Vice President of National Services, a proven ability to train and mentor a team, negotiate and draft lease agreements, and oversee the preparation of lease-related documents is crucial. You will also be tasked with collaborating with team members and business teams to improve processes and minimize risks. Building strong relationships within the legal community and with external legal firms is an essential component of this role.
Keys to Success
The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive experience in contract management, commercial lease negotiation, and lease administration. A thorough knowledge of leases and related documents relevant to commercial real estate is essential.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Paralegal, Commerce, or Business Administration.
