Key Responsibilities

Provide Commercial Operations Team support (Lead the preparation of RFI’s, RFQ’s, Submittals, Post Submittal Evaluations, to client response deadlines, etc.);

Collaborate with individual business line and proposal team members to develop customized responses to client RFIs and RFPs that will enable BrandSafway to be the successful bidder.

Support proposal development as required in accordance with BrandSafway’s policies.

Review RFQ; Identify required deliverables.

Create and manage a rolling action item list of deliverables.

Submit deliverable instructions to responsible person, scope Commercial Requirements, Technical Requirements, Legal review.

Schedule review / follow-up calls to monitor status.

Manage and coordinate input from other partners.

Consolidate deliverables into draft proposal and RFQ bid review format,

Schedule bid and proposal review per BrandSafway Delegation of Authority / approval levels :

Modify proposal for submittal, as required.

Train, mentor, and help develop proposal teams across the Canadian business.

Independently guide and facilitate the business line teams to develop and implement a Strategy to Win methodology to customize each response to the client, ensuring that the team completes responses to clients within the timeframe required and with the expected deliverables.

Work with National Business Development and Estimating teams to standardize proposal packages to create a first in class professional submittal.

Work with internal Marketing resources to create graphic presentations and overviews as required by the RFI / RFQ process, Sales efforts, Project requests.

Ensure that the production and quality control of out-bound documents and communications are complete and aligned with Branding efforts.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or similar is preferred, however alternate disciplines such as marketing or communications with relevant experience will be considered.

6+ years of experience in positions that provide a broad view of business, technical writing, project management, and / or industrial marketing.

Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior level leadership.

Proficiency in the use of personal computing technologies, especially MS Office and Sales Force.

Knowledge of industry practices methodologies, preferably in the energy or heavy industrial sector.

Work experience in marketing, procurement or sales and line experience in one or more functions is desirable.
