The Role : As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, plan, and implement treatment programs tailored to support patients’ physical recovery and wellness goals. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will use evidence-based practices to help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain functional independence. Your role will involve educating patients and their families about exercises and lifestyle changes that promote long-term health and prevent future injuries.
Responsibilities :
Assess clients' physical abilities through functional tests and establish treatment goals.
Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manipulations, massage, and electrotherapy.
Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and adjust plans as needed to meet changing patient needs.
Educate patients on home exercises and strategies to maintain or enhance their treatment progress.
Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in health promotion programs for patients, staff, and the community.
Requirements :
Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy program and national licensure exam.
Active license or registration with the provincial regulatory body.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with creative problem-solving skills.
Experience with patients of diverse ages and conditions is preferred.
