Our school currently serves over 400 students in grades 7-9. We are excited to be expanding our program to high school in a new location in the fall of 2022. With a mission to inspire the next generation to be knowledgeable creators, innovators, and responsible leaders, we believe every student can be successful in STEM and should have the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge science and technology topics. Position Information Casual – Guest Teacher Education and Experience Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education Demonstrated Skills and Competencies The successful candidate for this position demonstrates : Strong ability to positively relate to students Willingness to be adaptable teaching various subjects and grade levels Good classroom management skills Confidence, skill, knowledge and understanding of differentiated instruction, student engagement strategies, and assessment practices Competent in using online learning support tools such as MS 365 for Education, Schoology, GradeCam, Edwin, etc. Application Package Requirements Cover Letter Resume / Curriculum Vitae Names and contact information of three references, two of which must be current or very recent supervisors While we appreciate all applications received, only people selected for an interview will be contacted.
