PHARMACY ASSISTANT II

Position Summary

Are you a Pharmacy Assistant looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

• Reports to the Manager or designate.
• Under direction from a pharmacist, dispenses, manufactures, packages, labels, stores, and distributes pharmaceuticals.
• Prepares intravenous (IV) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) solutions.
• Records narcotic and controlled drug use.
• Maintains stock control.

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24‑bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER, and Maternity. Services include :
