Performance Engineer

Our client, a leader in healthcare technology solutions, is seeking a Performance Engineer to join their team. As a Performance Engineer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting clinical data migration projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop performance testing strategies for large-scale data migration processes
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks within data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data transformation workflows
• Leverage cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse, PySpark, Apache Camel, and Kafka
• Support clinical data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transforming source CSV extracts to FHIR JSON objects

What's Needed?

• Experience with performance testing and performance bottleneck identification
• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure or equivalent
• Knowledge of data pipelines, data transformation, and migration processes
• Familiarity with technologies such as PySpark, Apache Camel, and Kafka
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support collaborative project delivery
