We are looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics to work at IOC as part of a robust and safety‑oriented team. The Heavy‑Duty Mechanic is responsible for repairing mobile equipment in a safe, environmentally friendly, and efficient manner to ensure optimal equipment availability for the Iron Ore Company of Canada mine site in Labrador City, NL.
This is a great opportunity for a safety‑oriented and enthusiastic individual to advance their troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on our diverse fleet.

Where you’ll be working
We are a leading North American producer and exporter of premium iron ore pellets and high‑grade concentrate with average iron grades greater than 66%. We also operate a wholly‑owned 418 km railway, the Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway (QNS&L), that links our Labrador operations to Company‑owned port facilities in Sept‑Iles.
