Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, custom-built veterinary hospital. We are located in Collingwood, nestled between the ski hills to the west, and Georgian Bay to the east.   • About the Role :

    As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital, you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to their owners. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Patient Care : Assist with examinations, administer medications, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery.
  • Diagnostics : Perform lab tests, take radiographs, and support veterinarians with diagnostic procedures.
  • Surgical Assistance : Prepare for and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and patient safety.
  • Client Communication : Communicate with pet owners and educate them about their pet’s health, treatment plans, preventive care and post-operative instructions.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, assistants, and client care representatives to ensure smooth operations and the best care for our patients.
