REQUIRED SKILLS

Relevant cyber security and privacy industry certifications ( CISSP, CISM, CIPP,

CIPM, etc.) an asset

Strong knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts, protocols,

industry best practices, strategies, frameworks and regulations such as SOX, PCI

DSS, ISO, CoBIT, NIST, PIPEDA, GDPR

Relevant experience defining business processes and controls around sensitive

data and applications to ensure compliance with data protection regulations (

PIPEDA, GDPR)

Superior communication skills, (written and verbal), with a keen eye for detail

and the ability to bridge the language between technology and business

  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for

multiple audiences

  • Self-motivated and capable to work with minimal supervision
  • Results oriented with a proactive and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure against tight deadlines and changing

priorities
