Role Summary
This position is for the Assistant Manager of Purchasing, Finance and Information Systems. We are not looking for someone proficient in all 3 areas, just one, as this is a unique position.
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Assistant Department Leader is responsible for supporting both the Department and the Department Leader by overseeing all purchasing, finance and IS functions.
The Assistant Department Leader is expected to initiate solutions to an array of situations. The Assistant Department Leader will have excellent presentation, motivational and team building skills and balance multiple tasks in a fast paced manufacturing environment with a positive attitude.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Completion of Post-Secondary education, preferably in Purchasing, Finance or Information Systems.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with integrated financial / manufacturing software packages and SAP.
