ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project the largest project in Metrolinx’s GO Expansion.
Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
What is the Opportunity?
ONxpress Civil Contractors Joint Venture (CJV) is looking for a Data Reporting Analyst. This position is based out of our downtown Toronto office.
What you’ll do here :
- Create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights via dashboards, reports and metrics in Power BI
- Rebuild existing dashboards into more dynamic as well as builds new visuals.
- Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, as well as execute efficient deep analysis.
- Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
- Search and identify pathways for automation and data efficiency.
- Identify gaps in best practices in reporting and analysis : data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Use Power BI to run DAX queries and functions.
- Gather data from various sources (Excel, API, database, etc..) to store in a central database or to push to other sources.
What You Bring to the Team :
- College or university degree
- Prior experience in Data-related tasks.
- Experience with Power BI, Power apps and Power Automate.
- Familiar with Power Query, MDX, DAX, Python.
- Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics.
