Description : The Align Digital Platform is an integrated suite of proprietary technologies and services delivered as a seamless end-to-end solution to customers, to transform smiles and change lives. With your commercial acumen and influencing skills the Digital Platform Territory Manager (“DPTM”) will drive the sales of iTero intraoral scanners to orthodontists / general dentists and laboratory partners by applying comprehensive knowledge and expertise of our Digital Platform.
Your primary goal is to expand the Align Digital Platform by building and leveraging influential relationships with customers to modernize their practices and provide high-quality digital restorative, orthodontic and dental hygiene care to their patients. The successful candidate will use their strong needs-based discovery and business knowledge to join our smart, diverse and fast-moving team that is moving an industry forward, from analog to digital.
Role expectations
- Manage sales territory and be a business partner to your customers to modernize and grow their business including expansion of iTero intraoral scanners and ultimate adoption of Invisalign clear aligners
- Use insights / data / analytics combined with a proven consultative selling approach to challenge and drive customer decision making of the advantages to adopt new digital processes and tools
- Plan and execute a territory plan, based on understanding the potential in each account and actively prospecting and pursuing new iTero opportunities in assigned territory
- Partner with other Align sellers, clinical support, and dental laboratories within your territory to maximize customer experience and ongoing promotion of Align solutions
- Strategically partner with channel other Align sellers (i.e. Territory Managers), clinical partners, marketing and dental laboratories within your territory to maximize customer experience and to prioritize opportunities
- Orchestrate additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align / iTero solutions
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience required in a business-to-business (B2B) sales role or industry dental experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant combination of sales (inside or outside) and industry experience. Knowledge of Dental industry including implants, restorative and laboratories is preferredBusiness & Marketing knowledge : Ability to have business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and ask the right business questionsTech-savvy with a strong aptitude for navigating web-based platforms and digital tools. Solid computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM system (Salesforce preferred) and virtual communication platformsProven track record of achieving sales goalsStrong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers. Ability to adapt to changing circumstancesOrganization skills, including time management, multi-tasking and attention to detailHigh customer-service standardTroubleshooting ability, including research and reasoning and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet the physical requirements of the position which includes lifting up to 40lbsSuperior English communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Fluent French (verbal and written) is also required for all roles based or supporting customers in the province of QuebecValid Driver’s license and maintain a good driving recordMust be legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the US on occasionRegular and frequent (25-40%) travel within assigned geographical territory required with the possibility of some overnight travel, some nights and weekends based on in market events is required.Important Notes
