Assistant / Associate Professor, Dietetics and Nutritional Science

The Department of Agricultural, Food, and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure‑track position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Dietetics and Nutritional Science. The role is within the Division of Human Nutrition, responsible for the Dietetics Specialization within the Faculty of Agricultural, Life, and Environmental Sciences and the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Develop a portfolio of academic excellence in research, teaching, and service / administration focused on Dietetics and Nutritional Science.
• Teach and administer courses in the Dietetics Specialization.
• Lead and contribute to academic programming and leadership, including service as a Registered Dietitian.
• Forge collaborative networks with university partners such as the Alberta Diabetes Institute, the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute (WCHRI), and Alberta Health Services.
