Magnet is helping our client, a Global leader in the Consumer Product space, look for a Senior Associate Brand Manager to join their team and lead a strategic business for the organization. This individual will be responsible for leading key projects to drive business results such as customer marketing initiatives and integrated marketing communication plans. As a project leader, the Senior Associate Brand Manager will be accountable for delivering projects on time and on budget.
Role Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis and Reporting - Become a brand, customer and marketplace expert while monitoring competitive landscape trends and creating reports that inform demand forecasts, customer presentations and future opportunities for growth
- Contribute to the development and full alignment of the annual Integrated Growth Plan, outlining the strategic direction, prioritization and financial delivery against targets of the assigned brand(s)
- Working with agency partners, lead the development and successful delivery of Shopper Marketing Plans for assigned brands including customized plans against key consumption periods
- P&L accountability for targets on Net Sales, Operating Profit, Profit Margin and A&P spend for assigned brands
- Brand Strategy and Annual Planning - Support the team in the development of long-term category growth & customer plans, by gathering and synthesizing learnings from multiple sources to craft clear recommendations
- Marketing & Communications - Support the marketing communications briefing process by defining objectives, target consumer, and potential tactics to deliver on the category strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a comfort in turning data into actionable insights
Candidate Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s Degree, Commerce or Marketing is mandatory2+ years experience in brand management, marketing, or project managementRelevant industry experience required with coffee / food / beverage strongly preferredProficiency in AC Nielsen and Microsoft Office applicationsEmerging proficiency with P&L ownership and financial acumenStrong interpersonal and project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional meetings, resolve hurdles that arise, and action next steps to ensure continuous progress
