Job description

E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist | On-site | Oshawa, ON.

Role Overview :

As the E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist, you will drive digital initiatives with a focus on e-commerce growth, CRM strategy, and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in enhancing the digital customer journey across multiple brands. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with an eCommerce Coordinator, acting as a mentor without direct people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and update websites across multiple brands, including online postings, page building, and maintenance.
  • Handle CSR (Customer Service Requests) related to the website.
  • Collaborate on AI chatbot improvements and digital self-service tools (experience with AI tools is an asset).
  • Plan, develop, and deploy digital newsletters and dealer communications with guidance from the Marketing Manager.
  • Own the CRM calendar using Salesforce CRM, ensuring engagement with customer segments twice a month.
  • Leverage customer segmentation and performance data to optimize outreach, lead generation, and engagement strategies.
  • Launch and analyse paid digital campaigns across various platforms.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp , and drive insights through Google Analytics .
  • Support the ongoing transition to SAP Commerce , playing an instrumental role in platform adoption and optimization.
  • Maintain consistency in campaign execution, measurement, and reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on broader marketing initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications :

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce (B2C and B2B), with a clear understanding of customer journeys and segmentation.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM , SAP Commerce , Mailchimp , and Google Analytics — all are non-negotiable .
  • Website CSR management experience.
  • Proven success in executing and reporting on digital campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills with a results-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Bilingualism (English / French) is an asset, but no longer a requirement.
  • A passport for occasional international travel.
  • Must be able to commute daily to the Oshawa office.
  • Clear criminal background check.
