Job Description

Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking the services of a Project Coordinator to assist with the management of IT / IM related projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing project administrative and technical support.
  • Managing email and staff enquiries.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Developing and maintaining team priorities and other control systems for action items.
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring plans and schedules for transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinating project / initiative activities and monitoring interdependencies.
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings / events, documenting and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Creating presentations and communications artefacts for management and for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must hold a valid Federal Government Reliability Clearance.
  • PMP, PMI, or CAPM certified.
  • The resource must demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Project Coordination
  • The resource must demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years experience in drafting program and project materials.
  • The resource must demonstrate 5+ years of experience in creating, maintaining and executing plans and schedules.
  • The resource must hold a certificate, diploma or degree in Project Coordinator or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
