Job Description
Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking the services of a Project Coordinator to assist with the management of IT / IM related projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing project administrative and technical support.
- Managing email and staff enquiries.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Developing and maintaining team priorities and other control systems for action items.
- Creating, maintaining and monitoring plans and schedules for transformation initiatives.
- Coordinating project / initiative activities and monitoring interdependencies.
- Scheduling and organizing meetings / events, documenting and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Creating presentations and communications artefacts for management and for stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must hold a valid Federal Government Reliability Clearance.
- PMP, PMI, or CAPM certified.
- The resource must demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Project Coordination
- The resource must demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years experience in drafting program and project materials.
- The resource must demonstrate 5+ years of experience in creating, maintaining and executing plans and schedules.
- The resource must hold a certificate, diploma or degree in Project Coordinator or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
