Job description

Edmonton Catholic Schools is accepting applications for Elementary Teachers for the 2024 / 2025 school year. Applications are accepted and interviews are conducted for teaching positions throughout the calendar year.

Edmonton Catholic Schools requiresall teachers (substitutes and contract teachers) to be Catholic unless specialized in the following areas :

  • Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)
  • Lived Indigenous Experiences
  • Languages (Cree, French, Spanish, and Ukrainian)
  • Music (Elementary and Secondary)
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Must be major and / or minor)

Interested candidates that have a Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate are encouraged to apply. The following application documents are required :

  • Cover Letter and Resume (French Immersion candidates : Submit a cover letter written in French)
  • Two (2) Most Recent Teaching Evaluations ( Experienced Teachers : Contract Evaluations; New Teachers : Student Teacher Practicum Evaluations)
