Industrial Mechanic/Millwright

Our client, a manufacturer of electric cables, is looking for an Industrial Mechanic.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and some electrical systems in a wire and cable production environment;
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment;
• Diagnose root causes of mechanical failures and recommend improvements;
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals;.
• Align, adjust, and replace gears, bearings, shafts, pulleys, and other critical components;
• Work with production teams to minimize downtime;
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.

Requirements:

• DEP in Industrial Mechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (asset : experience with wire and cable, plastics extrusion or metals manufacturing);
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment;
• Welding, fabrication, and machining skills;
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment;.
• Functional French.
