We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Recruiter to join our busy Timmins office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, engaging with communities, and connecting job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities.
Unlike a traditional Recruiter role focused heavily on sourcing, interviewing and presenting resumes to our clients, this position is centered around community outreach, networking, inbound applicant management, and large-scale recruitment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships within local communities, employment centers, training institutions, post secondar institutions and Indigenous communities
- Attend and represent the company at job fairs, community and networking events, and outreach initiatives
- Act as a key point of contact for community partners and job seekers
- Review, screen, and manage a high volume of inbound applications in order to build pipelines for the recruitment team
- Coordinate and support mass recruitment efforts for projects and site ramp-ups
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates for a variety of roles (within mining, industrial, and skilled trades environments)
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for ongoing and upcoming workforce needs
- Educate candidates on job opportunities, site expectations, and onboarding requirements
- Work closely with the recruitment team to align workforce needs
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and ensure compliance with company processes

- Ability to travel for community outreach and events
- Previous recruitment, staffing, community engagement, or customer service experience is an asset
- Experience working with or within Indigenous communities is a strong asset
- Valid drivers license with access to a vehicle is required
