We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Node.js Developer in Canada; it is a 100% remote role. To qualify for this full-time, permanent / (T4 Hourly) role, candidates must reside within Canada.

Responsibilities :

• Develop high-quality, secure, and reliable code by following best practices in unit testing, test-driven development, coding guidelines, and security.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document both new and existing components to meet business, quality, and operational needs.
• Participate in code and document reviews.
• Adhere to agile principles, engaging in ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, and collaborate with peers to complete stories and achieve sprint goals.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot and resolve code-level issues quickly and efficiently.
• Contribute to the design and architecture to ensure software is secure, scalable, and maintainable.
• As part of a team that deploys and manages its own code, support production deployment, operations, and maintenance activities.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• 1-2 years of experience with React.
• Hands-on experience in building applications on large-scale cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), using services such as ECS, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.
• Practical experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Good experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building automation and CI / CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
