Oncology Pharmacist - Pharmacy

Job Description

Accountabilities :

• Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy and Oncology teams to provide patient-centered care
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses and other clinicians to enhance patient care
• Clinical review and verification of all medication orders for patients in the ambulatory oncology clinic
• Provide education to patients to promote optimal drug use
• Mentor Pharmacy residents, students and interns
• Supervise the preparation of chemotherapy
• Resolve day-to-day clinical and operational issues
• Oncology Clinic operations support
• Participates in oncology program quality improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Hours : Primarily Days / Evenings, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays(subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary :

Minimum :   $50.01 per hour

Maximum : $64.54 per hour
