Salary range: $75K/yr - $85K/yr + commission


Employee location: Montreal, Quebec

As the North American subsidiary of the group, the company distributes its facial and body care products, as well as fragrances, to a diverse clientele of aesthetic professionals, medical experts, high-end hospitality establishments and luxury retailers in Canada and the United States.


MISSION OF THE POSITION

The Education & Events Manager will promote brand image and values by training estheticians and Beauty Specialists on product knowledge, protocol treatments and selling techniques. This position also conducts in-person and virtual events for both spa and department stores.


TASKS & DUTIES

  • Sales/Events (35%):

Conduct animations at spas, department stores and various points of sale by performing facials (in person or virtual depending on client’s need).


  • Trainings (45%):

Deliver technical and theoretical trainings that are informative, engaging and maximize product knowledge retention on the latest skin care techniques and product launches.


  • Client relationship:

Develop a trusting relationship with clients and their teams

Consistently deliver extraordinary Valmont professional esthetic services and sales advice to clients


  • Administrative tasks (15%)

Organize schedule and manage own travel coordination, according to sales team requests

Provide sales support where needed including inventory control

Ensure that all paperwork following each training or animation is completed and submitted via CRM

Follow-up on the development of client needs

Organize trainings (logistics, food, supplies, kit replenishment, etc)

Learning and practicing: Maintain high level of expertise in product and protocol knowledge.


  • Meetings (5%):

Attend National Sales, Marketing and Education meetings twice a year, to remain up-to date of product launches and new protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Canadian esthetician diploma and proficiency
  • Minimum of three or more years’ experience in a similar position
  • Prior experience in a luxury environment preferred


OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATIONS

  • Able to work a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the customer that could include nights, weekends
  • Travel required within territory and possibly outside territory when needed (up to 75%)

MISSION DU POSTE


Le ou la Spécialiste de l’Éducation & des Évènements a pour mission de promouvoir l’image et les valeurs de la marque en formant les esthéticien(ne)s et spécialistes beauté sur la connaissance des produits, les protocoles de soins et les techniques de vente. Ce poste comprend également l’animation d’événements en présentiel et virtuels, tant pour les spas que pour les grands magasins.


TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Ventes / Événements (35 %)

Animer des événements dans les spas, les grands magasins et divers points de vente en réalisant des soins du visage (en présentiel ou virtuel selon les besoins du client).


  • Formations (45 %)

Dispenser des formations techniques et théoriques informatives et engageantes, visant à maximiser la rétention des connaissances produits, notamment sur les dernières techniques de soins de la peau et les lancements de produits.


  • Relation client

Développer une relation de confiance avec les clients et leurs équipes.

Offrir de façon constante des services esthétiques professionnels Valmont exceptionnels ainsi que des conseils de vente aux clients.


  • Tâches administratives (15 %)

Organiser l’horaire et gérer ses propres déplacements selon les demandes de l’équipe des ventes.

Fournir un soutien aux ventes au besoin, incluant le contrôle des stocks.

S’assurer que toute la documentation suivant chaque formation ou animation est complétée et soumise via le CRM.

Effectuer le suivi de l’évolution des besoins des clients.

Organiser les formations (logistique, repas, fournitures, réapprovisionnement des trousses, etc.).

Apprentissage et pratique : maintenir un haut niveau d’expertise des produits et des protocoles.


  • Réunions (5 %)

Participer deux fois par année aux réunions nationales des ventes, du marketing et de l’éducation afin de rester à jour sur les lancements de produits et les nouveaux protocoles.

QUALIFICATIONS

Diplôme canadien en esthétique et compétences professionnelles reconnues

Minimum de trois (3) années d’expérience dans un poste similaire

Expérience préalable dans un environnement de luxe (atout)
