Job description

Reporting to the Foreman, the Foreman Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring comprehensive follow-up on various tasks and files. In a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, the Foreman Assistant must be both organized and detail‑oriented, while working efficiently and with a sense of urgency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process and manage work orders (opening, data entry, closing, etc.).
  • Follow up on parts orders.
  • Handle follow‑ups on warranty‑related documents.
  • Manage subcontracting files (from creating POs to processing invoices).
  • Prepare quotes in accordance with the Foreman’s instructions.
  • Inform customers of any damage and the associated repair costs.
  • Offer support to other assistants during the Foreman’s absence.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Experience And Desired Skills

  • Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to structure.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to execute tasks quickly and efficiently.
