Job description

Our SW Calgary client is looking for an experienced and certified forklift operator to help with several projects!  This company values hard work, teamwork and a “get-it-done” attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees!

Responsibilities :

  • Loading and unloading heavy products.
  • Dismantling heavy shelving units using various hand and power tools.
  • Moving and organizing piping into a designated area.
  • Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.

Qualifications :

  • Current forklift certification, with proven proficiency on the Counterbalance forklift.
  • 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering heavy long loads.
  • Experience with hand and power tools and willing to dismantle large shelving units.
  • Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.
