Opportunity: Journeyperson Welders and Carpenters for Camps at Northern Lakes College

Are you passionate about your trade and love teaching others? Join us for a rewarding experience hosting three-day camps in either Slave Lake, High Prairie, Wabasca, or High Level.

Details:

• Schedule: 5 days total. Set up and take down plus 3-day camp
• Dates: May-August, Flexible Daytime, evenings, weekends.
• Hourly Rate: $45/hour
• Travel: Paid travel to and from some of the camp locations
• Small Class Sizes: 8 students per session for a personalized teaching experience

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson certification
• 2-3 years of experience
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for the trade and teaching others
• Criminal Record Check prior to commencement

Your Role:

• Organize and Prep: Order and organize materials, prep the shop, and facilitate the camp
• Impactful Teaching: Share your expertise and inspire the next generation of tradespeople

• NLC Trade Shop Locations in Slave Lake, Wabasca, High Prairie, or High Level.
