Adecco is currently hiring a full-time seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team in a custom high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment located in Vancouver, BC. This role requires experience operating and setting up 4-axis CNC lathes and mills, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision.   • Pay Rate : $38.00 - $42.00 / hour (based on experience)
  • Location : Vancouver, BC
  • Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm

  • Responsibilities :

    CNC Machine Operation & Set-Up

  • Complete setup and operation of multiple 4-axis CNC lathes & mills.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, setup sheets, and revision changes.
  • Ensure all machined components meet required specifications and tolerances.
  • Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety performance, including ergonomics, PPE usage, risk assessments, and behavior observations.
  • Adhere to all workplace health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Control & Reporting

  • Inspect and verify finished parts for accuracy and compliance with blueprints.
  • Work closely with the CNC Machine Shop Leader and collaborate on process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation related to machine setup, production runs, and quality checks.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education & Experience
  • Post-Secondary Trade School Diploma in CNC Machining or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a manual / CNC machinist.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling selection, and precision machining.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine performance issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35LBs
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
