Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused HVAC Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney, Canada. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers, providing expert technical support and driving sales growth in the HVAC industry.
- Deliver top-notch field and phone support for troubleshooting HVAC systems, including inverter-based ducted and non-ducted units
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and distribution partners in the Sydney area and surrounding regions
- Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate customers on our HVAC solutions
- Analyze customer needs and recommend tailored HVAC solutions that meet performance and budget requirements
- Collaborate closely with the inside sales and technical support team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Efficiently track and manage sales opportunities using CRM systems, from lead generation to closing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in the HVAC field
- Represent our company at trade shows and industry events to expand our market presence
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed targets in your assigned territory
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting techniques, and sales principlesMinimum of 2 years of field experience in HVAC sales or technical supportExcellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approachProven ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematicsProficiency in using CRM or ticketing systems for tracking customer interactionsDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide optimal solutionsGoal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targetsRelevant certifications such as EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent are highly desirableValid driver's license and clean driving record for traveling within the assigned territoryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning new software applicationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field is preferred but not requiredWillingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demandsAdditional Information
Salary Range - $45,000-$60,000 Annually
