Research Analyst Position
The Schizophrenia Division is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a full-time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst role to assist with clinical research projects intersecting mental illness, obesity, and glucose dysmetabolism. Responsibilities include :
- Scheduling human subjects' interviews, screening eligible research subjects, administering clinical rating scales, and functional assessments.
- Conducting neurocognitive assessments, anthropometric measures, physiological tests of glucose metabolism, and measurements of satiety / eating behaviors.
- Assisting in recruitment, maintaining subject records, data entry, database management, and preparing data for presentations and publications.
- Supporting laboratory visits, procedural visits (e.g., MRI scans), and accompanying subjects to visits.
- Assisting with regulatory submissions, preparing budgets, progress reports, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Performing other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have :
Bachelor’s Degree in neuroscience, health science, social work, or physiology.One (1) year of relevant clinical or research experience with mental health and / or addiction issues.Experience with neuropsychological assessments, clinical rating scales, and data analysis in R and SPSS.Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, database software, and Endnote.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.Experience working with diverse populations; bilingualism is an asset.Additional Information
