Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the the end-to-end delivery and design of multiple Hardware and Software-related projects
This is a part time role (15 hours / week). Candidates can be % remote in Canada.
Must haves :
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on software or hardware project's
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management and in designing, implementing, performing upgrades, configuring, troubleshooting, and documenting software solutions
- Previous experience as a software developer, or in a technical role
Nice to haves :
- Verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences
- Documenting requirements and other project required artifacts
- understanding of both the hardware and software components of an IT project
- Previous work experience in the public sector or large organization
Responsibilities :
- Creation of business case(s) via collaboration with stakeholders
- Facilitating requirements gathering sessions and draft recommended solutions based on gathered requirements
- Providing direction to other project resources as part of the solution implementation
- knowledge transfer to other resources, where required
- Status reporting, including formal reports / presentations, and other project artifacts, as required
- Project planning and estimating
- Communicating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
- Updating Information Technology management, as required
