About the role
Join our team as a Community Mental Health Professional within our Community Mental Health Service for Adults on the beautiful Isle of Man where you will work with people with severe and enduring mental health problems, providing specialist interventions for a defined caseload of clients.
This includes assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care plans for those under our care and supporting their recovery through providing expert psychological interventions, with a recovery focus.
You’ll be joining our large, friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team who will be there to nurture your existing skills and help you develop and further develop your professional skills and experience.
You will also have the opportunity to develop partnerships with both internal and external agencies, as well as charitable organisations to support the recovery of our patients.

- Our on-site education and training centre, Keyll Darree, comprises a lecture theatre, well stocked medical library, training facilities and a state of the art simulation lab which is operated by trained simulation practitioners.

- Ability to take an unpaid career break after 3 years’ service.

- Accommodation is available for the first 6 months in your role at a reduced rate for non-Island residents.
- A relocation package of up to £7, based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage / rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £ per month.
