Business Development Manager – Northeast Ontario
This is a unique opportunity to join one of Canada’s most dynamic and ambitious buying groups within the Building Materials and LBM markets. As the Business Development Manager Northeast Ontario, you will add to the growth and development of one of Canada's leading Buying Groups within the Ontario market, managing and developing future growth. You will be the face of the organization as they expand across this region bringing with you their proven ability to provide superior programs and services for the LBM Dealer market.
We are looking for a senior level, well-established Business Development Professional, familiar with the Ontario Lumber and Building Supply market, that understands the challenges and issues within this business sector. This individual holds relationships with key Dealers and Dealer groups, and can Solution Sell at the Owner level. This position requires an individual who is willing to travel extensively and is accustomed to working remotely from head office.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you welcome the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of independent LBM dealers while planning and executing our future growth initiatives. Providing continual communication to our Ontario Members while understanding their needs is fundamental to your success. Sound computer, coaching and presentation skills combined with excellent organizational skills are imperative.
Converting a dealer from one Buying Group to another takes strong influencing skills and a deep understanding of the commercial operations of a dealers' business. You will need to be able to create trust and establish relationships with the owners of these dealers that will evolve into the opportunity to influence them to swap banners.
