Our client is seeking a SR Application Architect with Microsoft CRM experience to support a client and case management modernization project.
Description of Project :
Our client has partnered and contracted with a systems implementor for the Client & Case Management (CCM) modernization Project.
The multi-year project has been initiated to deliver a technology solution that provides leading legal matters and case management functionality to our staff lawyers and legal support, roster lawyers, client services, justice service operations, and internal corporate functions.
This will improve the delivery of user experience and streamline processes to increase our overall capacity to serve our clients.
The project will be delivered over three separate phases, with the first phase currently underway. The implementation of a new CCM solution is a critical piece of our clients modernization to better support the delivery
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the CRM platform and other business systems.
Ensure the design is scalable, reliable, and meets performance expectations.
- Design, lead development, and implement programs and algorithms to automate and optimize the process of appointing and offering lawyers to clients and other critical business processes.
- Lead the technical redesign of the invoice process, and other critical processes, to make it user-friendly for lawyers, efficient for the organization, and transparent for clients.
- Develop strategies and mechanisms to detect and prevent invoice fraud, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Data Architect to ensure that business rule logic and algorithms are effectively utilizing data models and data schemas.
- Collaborate with the Data Architect to design and implement data structures that support the organization's business rules and algorithms.
- Create documentation and provide training to technical users on new design and development processes and supporting functions.
- Serve as a technical expert and advisor to the project team, providing guidance on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to integrate third-party solutions with the CRM platform.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for CRM development ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
- Ensure integration of CRM and other applications is seamless and automated wherever possible; participate in backlog prioritization.
- Follow security practices to protect sensitive customer data, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
- Document architectural standards, guidelines, project architecture decisions, and designs.
Must Haves :
- 8+ years as an Application Architect
- CRM platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM project experience
- Designing and implementing algorithms and workflows for process automation experience
Nice to Haves :
- Experience with agile development methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc).
- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Working with data architects to design data models and schemas that support business rule logic and algorithms.
- Invoicing systems and financial processes, particularly in a legal services context.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., TOGAF, PMP).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience working in the legal industry, private law firm, or legal software.
