Ancaster Montessori School, est. 1984, is seeking a MACTE accredited Montessori Casa teacher to begin in September.
This is a full-time, contract position, renewable year to year. Contracted hours of work : 8 : 45 a.m. to 3 : 45 p.m., Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar.
Two weeks off in each of December and March.
Attendance is also required at pre-planned school events, meetings, and open houses during the school year on a few weekends / evenings.
Summers off (work available upon request). Benefits are available.

Qualifications / Requirements :
- Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma (MACTE accredited training)
- Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a Montessori environment
- A love of children and the Montessori approach to learning
- Effective behaviour management
- Positive, warm approach
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
- Criminal reference check
- Up-to-date immunizations & TB test
Salary range : (approximate, depending on experience) $40,000 $45,000 for the contracted period September 2024-June 2025.
