Job Purpose :
We are currently looking for a motivated, ambitious, dynamic team player to fill the position of Receptionist in our Oakville office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Reception duties greeting guests and maintaining visitor log.
- Creating and receiving PO’s, following up with accounts payable as needed.
- General office duties in reception area.
- Assist administrative assistant with additional tasks
Job Requirements :
Education & Certificates
High school diploma
Technical Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Competencies :
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail orientated, Strong organization skills, ability to multitask, and determine priorities.
- Professional phone manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good team player.
- Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with a wide variety of people and positions.
Working Conditions :
- Nearly always work indoors in corporate office environment with long periods of sitting
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Employee may be required to perform Considerable level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, muscular action, body movements, working positions, posture changes, visual attentiveness).
