Main Responsibilities

  • Manage human resource activities across the employment lifecycle (Attraction, Recruiting, Onboarding, Development, Retention, Offboarding).
  • Maintain knowledge of current developments in HR area of expertise.
  • Develop and deliver employee training programs (focused on Leadership, Supervision).
  • Recommend and communicate organizational policy changes.
  • Advise others on legal and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Lead and support employee engagement activities.
  • Analyze data to inform personnel decisions.
  • Maintain personnel records, create operational budgets, provide input and insight to compensation and benefits programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business, with a minimum of five years in Human Resources.
  • Experience as a Human Resources Manager / Business Partner in a multiple Manufacturing or Distribution Center business unit environment.
  • Excellent communicator (written, verbal).
  • Working knowledge of Employment Standards and nuances of same across Provincial and US State lines.
  • A strong understanding of HR data and metrics.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, HRIS (Payworks, Workable, Bamboo).
