You will be working with a team that supports each other to be successful in their position and practice healthy collaboration.
This is a great position for students seeking on-the-job experience while in school or someone with a heart for ministry who does not have time for a full-time position.
Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for youthOversee and coordinate a weekly youth meeting that includes relevant Biblical teaching, and activitiesOrganize social activities for both groups to develop a sense of community and supportOversee and coordinate a young adult gathering that includes relevant Biblical teaching, fellowship, worship, and activitiesSet up programs to facilitate the spiritual growth of our youthWork with church leaders to bring organizational change with learnings from our emerging adultsRecruit, train, and mentor volunteers for various youth ministry rolesCommunicate with parents regarding their youth's involvement and participation in the churchParticipate in the organization of church special events throughout the year Requirements A vibrant and authentic personal faith in Jesus ChristA passion for the spiritual development of youth and emerging adultsPrevious experience in either ministry or a related field is preferredStrong communicator and collaboratorOrganizational and administrative abilitiesFlexibility to work on Sundays and attend occasional evening or weekend events Working Details 20 hours per week, Sunday worship includedSalary $20 per hour, plus benefits (pension, group medical) If you are interested in applying for this position, please submit your resume, along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you feel called to this position.
